Short film for Comm Tech.

It’s about how a guy meets a girl in the library and they start to get to know each other.  Later on, the guy starts to realize his feelings for her after hanging out together.  He makes many excuses and beats around the bush whenever he talks to her.  She thinks that he wants to become a vet and loves dogs but doesn’t realize his true feelings towards her when he tries to ask her out… which becomes the awkward one-sided love!

Media Arts Project, the goal of the project was to show how people interact with art.  We decided to make a video that shows us making cupcakes and feeding them to random people around our school.  We put nasty edible foods like chinese pickles into each of the cupcakes and we watch the reactions of the people eating them.  Viewers pick and chose a video they would like to see (their reaction).

Media Arts project I worked on with Fanny Cheng.  The project was about incorporating body and text together and the photo was inspired by the movie The Lorax that we had watched at the time.

Just a random picture that I have taken.  The colours of her clothing and nails all match together, I thought it was a great combination of colours together in one photo.

Colourphant
This painting was inspired by my Happy Meal sculpture.  It doesn’t really look like the actual sculpture and I had no intention to make it similar to it.  So I wanted to make a standing elephant that was in multiple bright colours in acrylic paint.  This was my second attempt in painting this piece since my first painting was terrible haha :)

Happy Meal
I absolutely love elephants and sort of have an obsession of using them in my art…  So I wanted to make a sculpture dedicated to the special ‘little’ animal.  I decided to make the sculpture out of recycled materials and chose to use plastic McDonald toys. I had a difficult time placing the toys all together because I wanted the sculpture to look like an elephant’s head.  The entire base of the head is made of a metal slinky in a knot with tissue paper stuck in between it for more support.  I called this piece Happy Meal because it’s made up of all my McDonald Happy Meal toys from my childhood  :)
